When I met up with some friends this past weekend, everyone was feeling stuffed from all the good food. A few, however, said they had really shopped till they dropped. Oh, I said, “You got all your Xmas shopping done then? Good for you!”No, they said, “I shopped for myself – the deals were great.”
It actually made me feel pretty happy. We all work so hard all year long. And so many of us spend time just trying to please others. Why don’t we take some time and do something nice for ourselves? In that spirit, I’m going to suggest you Treat Yo’ Self.
If you regularly read this blog, you know I’m girly in that I like to shop for clothes, shoes and jewelry on a regular basis. In short, I like to look nice and keep up with the fashion trends. Additionally though, one of the most important things to me is the comfort of my home.
We scrimped, saved and planned to make our home comfortable for us and any guests we host. We have some beautiful hardwood flooring, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and modernized bathrooms which we’ve worked on over the last seven years.
Even if you have tight budgets, you can still make your home what you’ve always dreamed of. There’s no interest with Floor & Decor financing from now until March 2015 (if paid in full) with purchases of at least $499 made through this month. Here are some of the affordable items that Floor & Decor offers:
Even if you don’t buy everything all at once for your remodel, you can buy some of the components. When we saw the tile we wanted for our master bath we bought it – five years before we used it. When we saved up enough money to get the entire project done, we started buying more and more supplies.
The point, folks, is that most of us don’t have enough to do an entire renovation like a kitchen or bathroom all at once. But with proper planning and saving, you can work toward that goal. And don’t forget, you work hard all year. Be generous: Treat Yo’ Self!
